PLAQUE AND TARTAR REMOVAL
During your appointment, we will gently remove hard and soft deposits above and below the gum line using state of the art technology and instruments.
FLUORIDE
After your cleaning and polishing, you may be given the option of fluoride treatment. Fluoride treatment is a natural mineral that helps to strengthen the enamel in areas that are weak, and prevent cavities from forming. It slows and may even reverse the development of decay and cavities by harming the bacteria which causes the cavities.
ORAL CANCER SCREENING
Early detection of oral cancer can greatly improve chances of successful treatment. That is why we will always do an oral cancer screening at every appointment. Your hygienist will look inside your mouth to check for anything suspicious, feel the tissue inside your mouth to check for any lumps or abnormalities, and may also examine your throat and neck for lumps.
DESENSITIZATION TREATMENT
We can administer a desensitization treatment if sensitivity during the appointment is a concern.
